A gravel road leads up to this Big 5 reserve, complemented by five different lodges. Itinerary
Day One
You leave early from Johannesburg / Pretoria to the scenic Entabeni Lakeside Lodge. Upon arrival at the lodge you can unwind and relax before lunch is served. Relax while taking in the beautiful view of the landscape around you. Later in the afternoon you can enjoy tea, coffee and snacks before going on your first game drive. After the game drive you can relax and prepare for dinner at the restaurant.

Day Two
After a good night's rest, you can enjoy coffee and biscuits before joining the Game Drive or have breakfast and join an educational Bush Walk, if the whole group agrees. Later in the morning you will be spoiled by a spa treatment - a choice of foot/hand therapy or back and neck massage. After your spa treatment you can enjoy a delicious lunch. Use the rest of the afternoon to relax next to the pool or to participate in other activities that the lodge offers. Later the afternoon you are welcome to join the sunset game drive after having tea, coffee and snacks. Finish the day with a delicious dinner.

Day Three
On the last day you can sleep late and have breakfast or you can go on your last game drive to see animals for the last time. Enjoy breakfast and look forward to returning to Johannesburg / Pretoria.

About Lakeside Lodge
Lakeside Lodge will be the venue for this Safari. Set on the banks of the 1.7km lake, this thatch and stone lodge provides a memorable blend of luxury and wilderness with the awe-inspiring Entabeni Mountain as a backdrop. The bedrooms are linked by thatched walkways to the reception, restaurant and boma. Spacious double/twin rooms are complemented by sundowners on your own private deck with the ever-changing colours of the Entabeni Mountain reflecting in the lake. The hippos at Lake Entabeni are a site to behold and the viewing deck provides the perfect setting for spectacular views over the lake. This pampering event includes your transport from Johannesburg/Pretoria and back.
